Sometimes I like to bake. This morning, since I'm still on break and my oldest brothers had classes that my mom had to attend, I was on babysitting duty for my younger siblings. Thus, we decided to bake.

This recipe is really an experiment, a mashing of several recipes all together. I hope you like it and try it and eat it! (Just don't eat it all. It will give you a nasty sickness.)

Ingredients:
Crust:
1 Pillsbury Pie Crust (I suppose you could make your own #aintnobodygottimeforthat)
1 Egg White

Mousse:
1 cup Chocolate Chips
1 Avocado
1/4 cup White Sugar
1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
1/2 tsp Vanilla
2 tbsp Milk (Or so- you kind of have to eyeball it)
1/4 cup Powdered Sugar (roughly)

Sea Salt

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

2. Using a small bowl (roughly 4 inches in diameter) cut out six circles- use the rim of the bowl as you would a cookie cutter.

3. Place cut out pie crust into greased cup cake tins and paint with egg white.

4. Bake empty crusts 8-10 minutes until golden. Cool and remove from tin.

5. Melt Chocolate Chips in the microwave in 30 second increments, pausing in between to stir. Let it cool.

6. Mix avacado, white sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla in the food processor. Add melted chocolate chips. Now, if it's too thick for your taste, add a bit of milk. If it's too thin, add some powdered sugar. Or if it's perfect, add a bit of both. Or don't.

7. Spoon (or pipe) the Mousse into the pie crust cups. Top with a sprinkle of sea salt and chill in the fridge.

  1. Hahaha thank you for the #aintnobodaygotimeforthat hashtag. Perfect grammatical situation for it. These tarts look so yummy! I love baking, but admittedly I'm afraid of tarts - small pastries seem daunting to make/screw up!
