Hey ya'all! As teens, I think we can get wrapped up in ourselves as we worry about school/exams/extracurriculurs/relationships/not dying, but it's SO AWESOME to see people (especially teens) being a blessing. Here are some simple ways to make someone's day.

1. Shout someone out on social media.
Let's be honest, this makes me happy. Especially if it's not a "shoutout for shoutout", but just natural awesomeness where you publicly compliment someone on social media. Don't be weird, but I love it when people tweet me with happy things.

2. Return a cart for someone at the grocery store.
Especially those mothers with the crying kids and groceries going everywhere. You'll totally make their day. (Copied this one from this article.)

3. Tell a teacher thank you.
Teachers, I believe, are highly unappreciated. We all clamor to leave the class right after it's done, leaving teachers left with our nasty papers to grade.

4. Make dinner for your parents.
I honestly never have the time to cook, especially since I have activities almost every night of the week, but I feel like my mom always has to make food for all of us. Let's give our parents a break!

5. Pay for someone's lunch.
I get it. We're all poor students. Chances are the person behind you in the lunch line is a poor student as well- you can splurge a couple of bucks.

6. Stick happy post it notes on the mirror.
Even one as simple as "You're beautiful" is epic.

7. Write a little email/pm to your online friends.
Like Rachel and Abby were getting at, online relationships are real too! Let's cultivate them. Send a little note to your blogging friends today- something as simple as "I'm so glad I've gotten to connect with you" is so great.

8. Offer to proof read an essay.
Seriously, I hate proof reading. If you came up to me and offered to read my last essay for Calculus, I would love you forever. (Side note: writing essays for Calculus was definitely not something I anticipated.)

9. Bring your coach/mentor/piano teacher a treat.
These adults have invested so much into you. They've spent their time, money, effort on you and they totally deserve a treat! I recommend chocolate bars. Because who doesn't like chocolate?? (I guess those unfortunates who are allergic. You can bring those people caramel.)

10. Bring people food.
Any food. All food. All the food. People love food
