Hey beautiful peeps! (BTW- peeps are disgusting. Like seriously)

This month, for April, the theme is GIVING BACK. Giving back to your community, giving back time, money, resources, giving back to the people who have invested in you, etc.

I wanted to share with you the epic story of Half United. I found some of their products at the cutest little store I visited a month ago.  I was just like I WANT TO BY ALLLLLL THE THINGS. I stuck their flyer into my purse and just found it a month later and sat down to write the post... So yep, here's to collecting random things in my purse. You'll never know when they'll come in handy!

So watch this little video about this awesome company that's giving back.

Taken from their website:
"HALF UNITED was founded in 2009 by brother/sister duo, Christian and Carmin Black, with only $200 and a passion to change the lives of people in need.  For every HALF UNITED product that you purchase, YOU provide 7 meals for a child in need. To date, HALF UNITED's customers have provided over 200,000 meals for children in need in the USA, Fiji, Cambodia, Liberia, Nepal and Haiti!"

Not only do they give 1/2 of their profit to fight hunger, they also have some seriously amazing products. Here are a few of my favorites!

Find out more about them on their website halfunited.com or visit them on twitterinstagram, or facebook

Also I need your help! If you know of any companies/entrepreneurs/people in general who are dedicated to giving back, let me know in the comments below!

Also, what are some ways you've been able to give back to your community? I'd love to know- answer in the comments!

  1. It's always great to hear that people are changing others lives for the better. I usually do community service in order to help who ever is around my neighborhood. The food bank is something I have been doing since I was little but barely have time for now!
