But can I just say,
sharing political/religious/whatever angry rants online is not working, man.
You know what speaks louder than the Facebook post that you have to click "show more" twice and it takes you to a new page because it's so long??

Kindness.
Giving.
Listening.
Serving.

So, I wanted share a resource with you that I stumbled across on twitter.

Volunteen Nation is a website that allows you to put in your zip code and find volunteering opportunities in your area. With everything that's been going on in the world, showing kindness through even a small community service opportunity makes more of an impact than snarky social media posts ever will.

Um yes please.

Not only that, but they also offer scholarship resources for students passionate about volunteering. In fact, in just doing research for this post, I found several scholarships I plan on applying for! No shame, bro.

What's even cooler is that the website was founded by two teens who actually were on the Forbest 30 under 30 list a few years ago. They spent their summer creating the program to encourage teens to stretch out of their comfort zones and make a difference. Hashtag goals amiright.

Anyway, I hope y'all know that kindness > politics. All day every day. Also, let's share kindness today: in the comments, feel free to share something kind you've done today!

Keep being epic,
Sophia
